My thoughts on your mail box (I adore the flowers growing on it – so jealous !) Anyway, since you are not happy with it …I think I would paint it with the outdoor spray paint – go black again and then spray it with a good outdoor protective gloss or flat…paint some great numbers or use stickers….post when done and let us know :o)

As another spray paint option- I recently used rustoleum’s ‘anondized bronze’ and it’s not as dark as the color of your mailbox, but the finish has a similar quality.
