I chose many of the pieces as a brand-new homeowner at age 23. Didn’t really know what I liked. Would like our home to reflect more warmth.

I do love magazine photos and have a file full of stuff I’ve ripped out, but most of them I couldn’t live in as is.

Right now, my house reflects my life, chaotic and colorful and full of family photos. Always needing some improvement, just like me.

While magazine rooms are nice, they aren’t very personal and they don’t look like anyone lives there. Our house is covered in cat toys scattered through the house and that makes it personal to us. I like to add little touches to every room so that people walk in and say “That’s SO Lisa” and it feels great when people do think that. I’m very matchy-matchy so I think that comes across in my house.
