You may have seen my post a few Sunday’s ago where I was in bloggy limbo. Thank you to EVERYONE that left a comment on that post! I took some time over the past week or so to reflect on what I enjoy about my blog and what I want it to be all about. I decided it was time to bring the FUN back. So I’m going to test drive a few ideas in June…

I’m officially declaring June “Practice Hospitality” month. Let’s party each week with the following themes:

Monday, June 7th – Hospitality Starts At the Door – How are you greeting your guests? (examples: door decor, curb appeal, entryway, etc.)

Monday, June 14th – Special Touches – How do you make your guests feel special? (examples: guest bath, guest bedroom, welcome signs, party favors, etc.)

Monday, June 21st – Go-To Recipes – What is your go-to recipe for guests? (Share your favorite recipe to wow your guests.)

Monday, June 28th – Practice Hospitality – How did you practice hospitality this month? (Share a dinner party, a guest visit, a meal taken to a friend, etc.)

Doesn’t this sound like fun??? Please help me spread the news – I would love to get lots of new ideas to help us practice hospitality!!!

Before we get started with all the hospitality fun, I want to host a Garden Party one week from today. I’m getting a late start on my containers this month. My goal is to add a few touches to my porch and back patio over the holiday weekend. To help keep me accountable, let’s share the beauty from our gardens (veggie, landscaping, container, etc.) next Thursday!!

Finally I’m trying to bring organization back into my life. I have been terribly inefficient the past several months. I always want to join Amanda’s Decorating Dilemmas Party but I always let it sneak up on me. I thought it would be neat to put up a weekly Party Gathering post to help us keep track of other upcoming parties. Hopefully this will help keep me on track.

Whew! June is going to be busy but I’m excited to have a plan!!
