Today while I was resting on the sofa in the den the boys were upstairs. I figured they were just up here watching TV. BBC came racing down the stairs to tell me about a craft he and daddy had just completed. I had to come see right away! So here it is…
It’s the countdown tree chain hanging from the board. DH remembered doing something like this as a boy and wanted to share that memory with BBC. 
Then he had to tell me how to use it. “Mom, when the sun comes up you just whip off one of the links!” He also informed us tonight before heading to bed that he was going to get up early in the morning when the sun is just coming out and whip off another one. The craft seemed to be a big hit.
Thanks to DH for entertaining the boy while I’m down and not allowing him to veg in front of the TV. The last time the two of them did a craft together, they drove nails and screws into a piece of 2×4 and chiseled BBC’s name. I’m impressed that they were able to stay away from the manly tools today! Scissors, glue and staples did the trick!

I will tell him. He is so sad when he doesn’t get to go to church. He has been sick right along with me. He was probably all well by Friday but I was at my worst on Saturday night. I think I scared Jeff so they stayed home to watch me on Sunday. I’m so much better today and was able to finish off a couple of things around here. I have so much more that I want to do. Thanks for the sweet e-card and prayers!
