OK – so we’ve been doing a lot of prep work trying to get ready for Christmas. I’m excited about a little event I’m getting to participate in this Friday. Our church is having a ladies outreach event where we will have five holiday classes (Christmas centerpieces, gift wrapping & tags, children’s crafts, holiday games, and economical gift ideas). Those that attend can take three classes and will get to take home the items they learn to create in each class. I’m leading the Christmas centerpieces class and I’m so excited about the project. I was inspired to do the project from two of my favorite sources – SLAH and the Blogosphere! I can’t wait to share pictures.

Then we headed over to my friend Kimberly’s home for more inspiration. She did a similar presentation at her church earlier in the week so I was able to borrow some of her ideas – literally! The most fascinating thing here was that my son sat there for a LONG time while she read and read and read. They were both so happy that we will have to do it again and maybe I will slip out for a little quiet time!
