It rained most of the week and we needed to get some fresh air. This is a great place for the two of us because he can run around and expend energy and I can enjoy the beautiful scenery. I love to study the plants around and about. It is always fun to see who is hanging out at the Mill. You will see plenty of cameras and it is easy to capture just the right shot. I love it when I spot an artist sketching or painting the scenery. Oh and if it looks familiar, it was in the opening scenes of one of my all-time favorite movies – Gone With the Wind!

It is a replica built in the 1930′s as a tribute to Arkansas Pioneers. They have neat little structures made to look natural like this little bridge.

Looks like a step back in time, eh? So relaxing to visit!

After a long visit to the Old Mill we headed to the nursery to check out the fish and then home. To round out the day, I convinced the boys to take me to Hot Springs for dinner at Rolando’s! Yummy!
