Taking my cues from nature, nesting continues around the Southern Fried household. Den project is complete. Monica closet is almost back in order. Pool is blue again. Weeds are almost under control.
Living Room is dressed for the season.

These on my front door again. They are sweet but messy – read more about this family here.
I prefer they build in one of our bushes – like this mockingbird did. If you look closely you can see the baby. I tried to get a good picture but this is as good as I could get for now.I also have plans to finish up the wall treatment in the dining room over the next week. I think I have decided on blue (sorry, DH). Thank you for all your wonderful ideas and advice!

I love the first picture with the nest, and lamp!
The real nests are a pain and so dirty by a front door-we had that last year too-and the babies kept falling out and dying, and we were a wreck!! We hated finding all the dead baby birds-

I am so done with nesting these days. I am taking the summer off. We just survived my babies 1st birthday-whew!! Just sittin’ by the pool, now!
