Last Minute Ideas for the 4th

I typically don’t do much decorating for the 4th. We put out a few flags in planters and on the house and that is about it. This year I decided I wanted to put a few more touches out back and of course on a budget.

This project turned out cute and was so cheap and easy to pull together. I think I saw a similar idea for spring in one of my magazines – maybe All You?

I have been saving my larger cans. I bought 2 sheets of paper and layered to create a patriotic look. Love that the red paper had die cuts on two edges – super easy!

Then I just popped a few plants and a couple pinwheels in to complete the look. Simple and Cheap! And so many possibilities for different holidays!

I actually had another project that didn’t turn out as planned. That’s OK! I would rather share some of my favorite posts from other bloggers this week instead. Enjoy!
Shelley @ Another Day at the Freemans pulled together the CUTEST tablescape!
Sunshine @ Make Life Delicious has some fun ideas for patriotic desserts!
Jen @ Balancing Beauty and Bedlam shopped her home and a yard sale for ideas!
LOVE what Kimba @ A Soft Place to Land did with mason jars!
Shannon @ Bless Our Nest always has the magic touch with holiday decor!

Thanks for the shout out! I love your idea for the patriotic flower pots. I may have to steal that one some day.
