Before we get too much further into January I wanted to share five of my favorite finds in 2009. I am in no way affiliated with these companies (although I would love to be {wink wink}).
No surprise that the top of the list has to deal with food – ha! I should seriously buy stock in this product. I’m a bread eater and that doesn’t always translate into the best options for someone that needs to watch what she eats. These sandwich thins are wonderful. Other than the obvious, they are great for cinnamon toast, cheese bread, and mini pizzas. My 5 year old even prefers them over white sandwich bread – bonus! I HIGHLY recommend these babies.

I was in a makeup rut. I did a lot of research and searched high and low for the right way to go as my skin is beginning to age and show blemishes more than ever. I LOVE BareMinerals foundation, warmth, and mineral veil. So easy to apply, beautiful finish, and lasts all day.
And we all know the best way to have good skin is to properly care for it. I could get away with things in my twenties that I can’t get away with now. I decided to splurge a bit more on the Philosophy starter kit and I haven’t looked back since. As a momma we tend to put our needs last. I decided this would be my little daily treat to myself. And it is zero calories to boot!
OK – so I’m not an early adopter of technology. But sometimes that pays off. I LOVE my iPhone 3GS. How did life exist before it? Thanks you brilliant people at Apple! DH hasn’t been quite as thrilled – he thinks I should get it permanently attached to my hand…hmmm.
And if you make the investment in the iPhone then you might as well make an investment to protect it. Yes the OtterBox is a bit bulkier but well worth the $50. I know it has saved my phone at least 3 times. I won’t go into details for fear of self incrimination but I say if you don’t already have it – go get it NOW. Trust me!

I love the sandwich thins. I like that they have no high fructose corn syrup in them and they are low in fat and calories.
My kids love for me to make little pizzas on them as well. And, they make great little grilled panini type sandwiches.

One of Natalie’s little friends had a sandwich today on the thin bread and really seemed to enjoy it. I’ve been baking our bread for sandwiches in the breadmaker, but these would be so fun for little mini pizzas.

I love those sandwich thins too! I buy them for Anna, b/c she eats like a bird and I always throw away a half a loaf of moldy bread! HA! Love Bare Minerals too! Been using it for a while and love it!
