Thanksgiving Mantel

We looked at Christmas mantels yesterday so why not take a look at my Thanksgiving mantel this year. I know I am biased, but I am totally digging my mantel this year! The painting of BBC won’t stay here but I thought it added a nice touch for the few weeks this look will be up.
I really liked how the Halloween mantel turned out so I kept most of the pieces and just changed up a few things.
I have definitely gotten my money back and then some on my Galveston Hurricane. It is a staple piece for my home decor that moves from room to room and season to season. For Thanksgiving, I kept the coffee beans and replaced the ghost tree with a few long, wispy sticks (borrowed from an urn full of them in the living room) and a bunch of pheasant feathers.
Then I swapped a crow for a turkey (I got him on clearance at Hallmark a couple of years back).

Some people get overwhelmed when I tell them I switch out my decor on a monthly basis. As you can see with a few staple pieces and inexpensive fillers, it’s easy and stress-free to pull off!

Do you do anything special for Thanksgiving decor in your home?

Looks great! I love the natural feel and the feathers. The cutie pie boy helps too! :) Still want to do a giveaway? I’ve pretty much filled up November with giveaways but I can do first of Dec. if you want to.

I love your mantel. I also decorate mine seasonally. I have some basic pieces that stay up year round, and then switch out just a few items for the season. It only takes a few minutes, doesn’t it? Carla
