Tastefully Spooky Decor

My friend Chas has done it again. She is the queen of tastefully spooky home decor. This year she was inspired by the headless horseman. He’s even standing watch over her door to greet guests! (Remember: you can click on the pictures to enlarge the view.)
Here’s a closer look. I love all the details she added – from the gloves to the Spanish moss he’s standing in. She puts a glow stick in his head so it lights up over night. Brilliant!

Foyer
I love the weathered signs hanging in the tree most of all.

Dining Room
Notice the faux fence on the wall behind the chairs. Genius!

Simple and Spooky Centerpiece
This gallery of headless portraits is perfection! I believe she got the portrait prints form the Pottery Barn decorating website. The touches of Spanish moss and crow silhouettes give this area personality. Super cute!

Here’s Madame
Poor thing lost her head but it’s displayed nicely in the breakfast nook.

Family Room
LOVE the mantel and the faux lanterns hanging in the window.

Portraits and More

Even the guest bath gets in on the fun!

Finally, here’s the Halloween Hostess in costume for this year. I love this girl’s creativity and sense of style – even if she is dating a vampire. Muhahahaha! Thanks for letting me brag on you, Chas! Love it all.
Happy Halloween!
