While the paint dried on our crafty project, we made Valentine treats!

(Got this icing for pennies with coupon and clearance sale. Martha will not be proud but my frugal friends sure will be!!!)

Uh, yeah. They aren’t going to make it to Valentine’s day. They won’t make it through this week. But it sure was a fun time! I even decorated a few – can you tell which? And the end result was pure yumminess!!!
Are y’all feeling the LOVE, yet?
Update: I’m linking up with Cheri to Celebrate! Check out the project she is working on – cute!
I’m also linking up with Somewhat Simple’s Valentine’s Strut Your Stuff party!

They look yummy! They wouldn’t make it through the day in my house. We love sweets way too much.

I have a confession to make…I have never made Rice Crispy treats before. But I love them! Your cute heart ones have inspired me.

I don’t know what’s cuter – your helper and his tongue or the finished cookies LOL
Nice job!

OOOOH! Those look good! The homemade ones are soooo much better than the boxed ones. They taste like cake batter.
I came over from Amanda@Serenity Now’s blog. Your little one sure is a cutey!

Aw, what a sweet post. Isn’t it wonderful to be able to spend time with the kiddos? I took my 3 little ones to get a haircut this afternoon and they were making me laugh. Aaah kids.
Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment on my blog about my name plaques. Come visit anytime.
Blessings,

Feeling the love. Rice Krispie treats are good no matter what your age.
I remember I had made a pan of them and we had friends drop by one night. I brought out a platter of them and the guy ate one and was talking abouthow delicious they were and he had never had them before. His girlfriend was asking him if he had really never had them as a kid and he said his mom never made them. I introduced him to RKTreats and I am sure his life has never been the same.
