Southern Fried Wednesday: Friendship

One of the perks of being a design consultant (besides getting to see other folks’ homes) is friendship. Some of my best friends are fellow consultants. Last night my friend Bridget @ A Home that is Blessed invited some girls together in her home (isn’t it beautiful)?

I was thrilled to see Gina there. Isn’t she a cutie? We haven’t seen each other in months and it was so great to catch up and encourage one another.

Another dear friend, Kimberly, was there. This woman is amazing and as you can see engaging. She has helped me through some rough patches over the past year or so and I like to think I have encouraged her as well. Our paths probably would have never crossed had it not been for this business.

Sometimes the friendships aren’t local. Take Debbie @ Love the Decor for example. We have not met in real life, yet. I treasure my new friendship with her. The main bond that brought us together was a love for decor and our design business. As it turns out we have so much more in common. She has been so helpful and encouraging to me especially as I deal with some emotionally tough issues around my son’s education.
